The house is privately owned by an English family who have been living and working in the Lake region since 2008. We speak English, German and Italian and can make ourselves understood in French. The spacious light holiday home has a total of 6 bedrooms, 2 well equipped kitchens, a living room, 3 bathrooms, 4 WCs, 2 balconies, a winter garden and can easily accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. It is comfortably furnished and well decorated. A wood-burning swedish oven in the spacious living area on the ground floor ensures a cosy atmosphere and the extendable dining table has space enough to sit up to 10 guests allowing you enjoy your meals in comfort with your family and/or friends. In good weather you may choose to have your lunch or evening meals on the large and spacious balcony, in the garden and enjoy the warmth of the afternoon sun. On cooler days, the naturally bright winter garden could be used as an alternative. 6 bedrooms are available to you with a total of 6 single beds, 1 bunk bed, 2 double beds. The main kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped with induction hob, microwave oven, toasters, coffee machines, dishwasher and washing machine whereas the lower kitchen has a ceramic stove, microwave,coffee machine and basic utensils. The house is not shared with other guests. It is for you and your family alone.

The house which is next to a forest and set back from the road. It has a large garden, and the house itself is fabricated using only healthy materials and paints. The community of Herdwangen-Schönach is located approx. 12 km from Lake Constance in the hills of the Upper Linzgau, which itself is some 600-700m above sea-level, between the cities of Pfullendorf in the north and Überlingen in the south. Überlingen with its charming old town, city gardens, thermal baths and long beach and promenade on Lake Constance is about 17 minutes by car from the house. Other wonderful locations not far from the house are Salem with Affenberg where tourists can see storks and feed berber apes ( 20 minutes by car) Meersburg with its wonderful old castle and delightful old town ( 25 minutes by car), Constance a historic, vibrant city ( 50 minutes by car), Ravensburger Spieleland is 45 minutes from the house. The Linzgau Seepark ( 8 minutes by car from the house) is great for the whole family and located in Pfullendorf. Highlights are the water ski facility, the beach, the diving centre, Germany's craziest adventure and football golf courses and the water games for children.
