This family-run hotel is situated on the outskirts of Vehlberg, a town in the triangle formed by Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl and Ansbach. All of the spacious rooms at Hotel Wender are decorated in a country style, and feature satellite TV and a seating area. Each also includes a private bathroom. Regional specialities and local wines are served in the Hotel Wender restaurant. A rich breakfast buffet is available every morning. Guests can play a game of table tennis, and bicycles can be left in the hotel garage for free. Younger visitors will enjoy the children's playground. The region’s main attractions such as the New Franconian Lake District, Dinkelsbühl and the Open-Air Museum in Bad Windsheim can easily be reached.
