Our main house in Obing was built by Italian masons and carpenters 1873. They did it in their own (grand) style, which makes the design, up to this day, if not unique, special and definitely different to most other farmhouses, then and today. Which means: everything is big. Big hallways, big windows, big rooms with high ceilings. That's the main house. There we are renting out two holiday apartments. The rest of the house is being used as apartments for tenants who live on the Zehenmayrhof permanently. Being originally a farm, the Zehenmayrhof consists of several buildings. Such as barns and stables. Those stables have been successively turned into apartments. Every single one of them has its own layout, style and atmosphere.
In general, we do, what we like to do. This is, besides of other things, renting out holiday apartments. No joking. we like having people around and showing them our homecountry. This becomes even more important, as we are having more and more guests from all over the world.
Regarding outdoor-activities, everything seems possible in our region. Our pre - alpine region called "chiemgau", has so many beautiful lakes and rivers with the mountains always in the background. Everything is connected with biking,- running,-- or hiking trails. This makes even the remotest nature attraction accessible.
