Further inland on the peninsula you will find hilly beech forests and the disused Sostrup Castle monastery, tranquil lakes and abundant wildlife. The area around Gjerrild is not overcrowded and is easily accessible via disused railroad lines and small roads. Visit the Mols Bjerge National Park in the southern part of the peninsula and experience the beautiful nature on hikes.
