We are a Danish–Swedish couple who spent the past five years in Portugal, moving from one west coast to another. Living close to the ocean taught us something about time. About slowing down. About creating space for what matters. A dream quietly grew: to bring that feeling back home and shape it into something of our own. For us, meaningfulness is time shared. Stay at Æ’ Quinta, a former farmhouse turned boutique bed & breakfast, now under new ownership and currently being thoughtfully renovated. The name blends the local dialect of Thy with “Quinta,” meaning farm in Portuguese, reflecting the owners’ time in Portugal. With just four rooms (each with its own charm) and shared spaces designed for simplicity, Æ’ Quinta feels intimate and relaxed. Up to 10 guests can stay here, just 450 meters from the ocean. It’s a place to recharge, breathe, and find shelter from the wind. Here you can forget the clock and follow the rhythm of the day, or the waves.

Æ’ Quinta is located just 450 meters from the ocean (about a 5-minute walk), framed by the wild beauty of Thy National Park, with plenty of hiking and biking trails. Just around the corner, you’ll find Kesses Hus, known for Thy’s best pancakes, along with cafés and bars. Surf schools are nearby, and SMK is a 40-minute drive away. In short, you’re close to everything, yet the B&B is tucked away for peace and quiet.
