The apartment is in the middle of Silkeborg's city center with pedestrian streets, cafes and shops right on the doorstep! It is a 5-minute walk to Silkeborg langsø, to the forest, to the cozy Sydbyen, to Silkeborg harbor where the Hjejlen, which is the world's oldest steamer, is in world, is in port. There is also the paper factory, which is the factory Silkeborg grew up around and Hjejlen was used by in the past. Now the Hjejlen is a route boat that sails tourists around the Silkeborg lakes all summer. If you are into nature, then it is only 5 minutes by car to Almindsø, which is one of Denmark's cleanest lakes, where there are 3 beaches to choose from, and you can walk the beautiful 5km round the lake. Silkeborg is also Denmark's outdoor capital, so our nature also offers mountain bike tracks in several of the forests, also only 5 minutes from the apartment.
