In fact, the Wadden Sea is just outside the door - it is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and one of the most important nature reserves in Denmark. It is a landscape of wetlands, beach, pastures, dunes and an incredibly diverse bird population. You can see the island of Sylt in the distance. A few hundred meters away from the house on one side is the idyllic harbor of Havneby, its small fish stores and the regular ferry service to Sild, on the other side you will find golf courses, tennis courts and restaurants.
