"Hytten" is an old house from 1915, it has a charm of its own. The guest room upstairs has been renovated 5 years ago and is bright and comfortable with 2 single beds and 1 folding bed available. Access through sewing room The shower is shared with the host and is downstairs at the back entrance as well as access to the fridge, where there is a shelf to store your food. (The stairs are a bit steep, please take that into consideration before you book)
I am a former homecarer, now retired, but I still enjoy life. Being a host is an opportunity to learn more about the different parts of the world and speaking different languages, which I realle enjoy.
Though in a rural and remote area of Denmark, there is a lot to do and see here: several small, local museums, nature parks, dark sky area, cultural events (music, art exhibitions etc) and a special community, Thylejren, nearby. Further distanced is "Cold Hawaii", the former fishing village recently turned into a surfers paradise.
