Købmandsgården was the first house in Ballen and dates back to 1844. The property is located in the heart of the harbor town of Ballen, where there is life and activity all year round. On the old cadastral plot you will find several buildings. In the old main house with half-timbering and thatched roof, there are 5 apartments. A “Trælast”, which today is arranged with the Garden House and the Trælast hall, can be rented either by a family of 6–8 people, for a family weekend, or for a party. The house is old and has thin walls. The floors creak here and there. During your stay, it is a good idea to talk a little with the neighbors and keep in mind that there are likely more people in the house on warm summer days when everything is open. The house has charm and a wonderful location close to a fantastic bathing beach and the marina. Overnight stays with us take place either in apartments or double rooms, where there is one bathroom shared between several rooms in an apartment, depending on which apartment you choose. You can also book one of our five double rooms, which are for adults only, with private bathrooms. In these double rooms, the beds cannot be separated into two single beds.
