We are Janni & Alex with roots both in Denmark and England and we decided to bring the best of both worlds to our farmhouse in Lustrup. As Lustrup Farmhouse is also our home it has been important to us to retain many of the original features of the old barn to create a very warm, "hyggelig" and welcoming feel that will embrace all our guests and add to the experience of a unique holiday. From the beginning we knew that we wanted to minimize our impact on the environment and make the development as eco-friendly as possible using the natural resources the countryside provided. Solar panels & a ground heating system provide hot water and underfloor heating through out the farmhouse. EV charger is available on site. Built in 1927 as a working farm, Lustrup Farmhouse has now become a popular holiday destination with 6 eco-friendly apartments with both comfortable and danish charm overlooking the beautiful countryside with fields and woodland. Close to many family & cultural attractions and right in the heart of the Wadden Sea National Park and Ribe, the oldest town in Denmark. EV-charger now available on-site. All with private terraces. 1 farmhouse apartment, 65sqm, ground floor, sleep 3 people (2 adults & 1 child). Private terrace. 1 farmhouse apartment, 60sqm, first floor, sleep 3 people (2 adults & 1 child). Cosy with high pitched ceiling and view to fields. The farmhouse apartments include all you need of kitchen equipment including dishwasher and microwave. There are bedlinen and towels for all guests. A laundry room with a machine wachine and drying racks are available at the farmhouse. You find a playground for the little ones up to 7-years old. There are free WIFI internet and parking. Smart TV in all apartments. Non-smoking apartments and pets are not allowed. The prices are the cost per apartment plus a service charge of 1000Dkr/1200Dkr. Accept bookings in July & August of minimum 5 nights / minimum 2 nights during low season.

Lustrup Farmhouse is a short distance from Ribe - 2,3km - with Cathedral, museums, shops and a great selection of cafées and restaurants. Ribe has a dramatic history of vikings, king and queens, bishops, witches and floodings. Guided tours are available - a must. Ribe Vikingcenter is close by - a short walk - and is a popular family attraction. A great day out as all family members will enjoy the viking village and i'ts activities. Lustrup Farmhouse is surrounded by beautiful nature and the Wadden Sea National Park. The islands of Rømø, Fanø and Mandø have sandbeaches, seals and stunning nature.
