We dreamed of a summer house and in 2020 we found this beautiful plot. We got a friend to design the brand new summer house for us, and we built most of it ourselves. The house is a sanctuary where we can gather as a family and relax. After Tanja's parents passed away, the cottage has become a new gathering place where we can relax and just be, without having to worry about laundry and everyday life. When you come home to your parents, it's like being a child again - you can always just be. Our cottage gives us that feeling too. We love long walks along the beach and visits to the forest overlooking the water. We also enjoy sitting on the terrace and looking out over the water while the kids play roundball and soccer on the grass.
