Welcome to Summerhouse 12J, a charming retreat at Sct. Knudsborg offering a serene, rejuvenating seaside escape. Set near the beach, this standalone summerhouse blends modern amenities with natural beauty — ideal for families or small groups looking to unwind by the sea. Summerhouse 12J is a detached cottage at the front of Sct. Knudsborg, with one of the best sea views on the estate. The covered terrace faces the wide lawns and the open Little Belt — covered, so it stays useable when the weather turns — and from the lounge large windows carry the panorama to the horizon. 50 m² with an open lounge (sofa, dining table for 4) and a fitted kitchen (electric hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, Moccamaster). Two bedrooms (double + bunk for two) and a bathroom with shower. The cottage and its covered terrace are yours. The 25.000 m² natural plot, the lawn down to the beach and the private beach steps are shared with other guests. Dedicated parking sits next to the cottage. Martin, the owner, lives on the estate — about 4 minutes away on foot — and is on call throughout your stay for questions, recommendations or help. Sct. Knudsborg sits on the north coast of Funen, overlooking Båring Vig and the Little Belt. Brenderup village (4 km) has a bakery and grocery stores; from there, regional buses run to Middelfart and Odense. Middelfart and the Little Belt bridges are 18 km; Odense — Funen's capital and Hans Christian Andersen's birthplace — is 28 km. Quiet and coastal, a 120-minute drive from Copenhagen via the bridges. A car is the easiest way to explore, and the beach is in front via metal steps. Coastal cycle paths and walking routes start at the property boundary. Bring your own sheets, duvet covers and towels — duvets and pillows are provided. Power, water and heating are included. On Saturdays, the main building 12A occasionally hosts private events with music in the early evening. Pets are not allowed in this cottage.
