Det gamle hus står midt i byen som en stille digter af sin egen tid. Dets vægge bærer på historier, skrevet i små spor af slid og levet liv. Tæt på havet trækker huset den salte luft ind, og sammen med den kommer en let, fugtig lugt — som minder om gamle træbjælker og regnfulde dage. Det er ikke ubehageligt, men snarere en del af husets sjæl, en duft af tid og nærhed til vandet. Indenfor er der stadig blødt og hyggeligt.
