The Yellow Barn is a self-service accommodation. You unlock the door using a code and a key box. The rooms are located on the first floor of The Yellow Barn, right next to our private residence, with a view over the farm.
In the summer months there is acces to our heated pool.
Guests are welcome to use the large and beautiful event room, which includes a sofa area and free Wi-Fi. There is also a spacious industrial kitchen where you can cook, use the refrigerator, and make coffee and tea. The nearest places to eat and grocery stores are in Eskilstrup, Horreby, and Stubbekøbing. Meals are not provided except for breakfast.
I do not serve the breakfast personally, but it will be ready for you in the fridge. It includes eggs, bread, butter, jam, cheese, yogurt, fruit, some cold cuts, breakfast cereals, coffee, tea, juice, and milk. It is polite self-service and costs DKK 100.00 per person (15 Euro) Breakfast can be enjoyed in the small dining room near the entrance or outside in the designated area with tables and chairs. Guests are kindly asked to tidy up after themselves.
I was born on the property and have run the farm together with my husband since 1996. We have four adult children, four dogs, and a cat. We are active in sports and outdoor life. I work as a coach, yoga, and breathwork instructor in addition to managing The Yellow Barn and the event space. It is possible to join one of my yoga classes if it fits with the timing of your visit.
Skjørringe Estate is located just 10 minutes from the E47 motorway to Copenhagen and Hamburg. It’s a 30-minute drive to Gedser, where the ferry departs for Berlin, and 45 minutes to Rødby towards Hamburg. In our local area, you’ll find the towns of Stubbekøbing and Nykøbing F.
We are surrounded by beautiful nature and forest, Falster Golf Club, Crocodile Zoo, and Hesnæs Beach are just a few minutes drive away. Marielyst Beach and holiday area is about 30 minutes from here, and if you’d like to visit Bogø and Møn, that’s also easily done by car. It takes just under an hour to reach Møns Klint.
