We are a small family who live in the yellow farmhouse and take care of the garden, the fruit trees, and the old buildings. We moved to Bornholm because we love the island’s calm rhythm, open landscapes, and the feeling of space. Hosting guests has become a natural part of our daily life, and we enjoy meeting people from many countries. Guests often mention that we are easy to reach, quick to help, and respectful of privacy. Our bright and spacious Loft sits in the upper floor of a historic yellow farmhouse near Arnager. Designed for two guests, it offers calm, comfort, and easy access to Bornholm’s nature. Breakfast (114 DKK) and packed lunches (100 DKK) are available on request. Den Gule Svane is a restored 1888 farmhouse — once the local school — now hosting four light, modern apartments, each with its own entrance and outdoor area. The garden has old fruit trees, open lawns, and quiet spots to sit and unwind. All apartments are fully equipped for both short and long stays, with strong WiFi, good kitchens, and comfortable beds. Our home sits just outside the small coastal village of Arnager, one of Bornholm’s quietest and most charming corners. The area is surrounded by open fields, fresh sea air, and wide skies, creating a peaceful rural atmosphere while still being close to everything you need. The beach is about 1 km away, with the long harbour bridge and the coastal path offering easy walks along the shoreline. Rønne is only 8 km from the house, and Rønne Airport is just a few minutes away, making arrivals and departures simple. The neighbourhood is ideal for walking and cycling, with routes leading towards the coast, the cliffs at Stampen, and the forests south of Rønne. Arnager itself is friendly and low key, known for its small harbour, seafood smokehouse, and calm surroundings. From here, you have quick access to the rest of the island — beaches, nature trails, local food spots, and Bornholm’s main attractions are all within easy reach.
