Born in Italy, after living in several countries of South America, I finally found my place in this corner of paradise, at the end of Dominican Republic. I quit my "traditional" job, radically changing my life, looking for an unsophisticated and more genuine way to live. I spent here eras more the 20 years, so I dug myself in Las Galeras with my Dominican wife and our daughter. Together we are happy to share the beauties of the place and to make you perceive every aspect and every nuance of this wonderful place, away from mass tourism, surrounded by lush nature, full of pristine beaches, where you can feel the true Caribbean atmosphere.

El Pelicano is an apartment complex with 10 units. It's conveniently located close to the beach and to downtown, yet it's far enough that neither the salty sea air nor the noisy discos affect us. It's a place of peace and quiet with lots of green and flowers.

Neighborhood info

El Pelicano Apartments is located at only a few minutes walk from La Playita and Playa Grande, making it both convenient for quick access to the beach and the local stores. At the same time, especially at night you always hear the soothing sound of the ocean. Security is never a problem thanks to the fact that we share a private driveway with the prestigous Villa Serena Hotel and several luxury homes, all of which have 24/7 security guards.
