Over the past 20 years I have lived in several places on several continents with different cultures, so I'm well-traveled and fluent in several languages. I enjoy sharing my travel experiences and listening to those of others. I enjoy showing people the beauty of the place where I currently live, and I take great pleasure in knowing I have helped someone experience a wonderful Caribbean vacation. I am a proud father of a daughter and a son, whom I'm raising with my wife Visandy. I can't live without e-books on my Kindle, nor without my laptop and Internet. They're key to running my business and keeping in touch with the world. To keep physically active, I go hiking and mountain biking on the numerous dirt roads in this area. Villa La Salamandre is one of those unique places that will impress you when you arrive and continue to impress you daily with its unique location, gorgeous sunsets, endlessly changing ocean colors and friendly staff. Despite its location in remote Las Galeras, no expense has been spared to equip the villa with lots of modern amenities and technology, designed to offer guests a true taste of luxury and comfort. This is the kind of place you won't find anywhere else at these rates.

Neighborhood info

This part of the peninsula of Samaná is still very unspoilt, so you'll find lots of spots where you can connect with pure nature, picture-perfect beaches, lush jungle and millions of coconut and palm trees. A 3-minute car ride puts you in the center of Las Galeras, where you find some good restaurants, bars, "discotecas", convenient stores and tour operators for excursions. About 30 minutes from the villa is the city of Samaná, where you will find supermarkets, many more restaurants, active night, numerous gift shops and a beautiful marina. 30 minutes is also all it takes to get to famous Playa Rincon for a truly Caribbean beach experience. Although the house is a little secluded, safety is always monitored by our guardian, who lives on-site, and a security camera system.
