Casa Playa Mann is a Bed & Breakfast located in a exclusive and quite sector of San Cristobal Island. A few steps from Playa Mann beach, a touristic treasure of San Cristobal. It has six rooms: three junior suites with a spectacular private balcony with sea view and three superior room with a garden view and access to a terrace with a sea view. All rooms decorated and well furnished. The infrastructure, activities and services have an ecotourism focus. During construction it was considered the conservation and care of the environment such as the preservation of one of the iconic cactus Candelabra (over 100 years old and 7 meters high) in the island and other endemic plants. We have our “kitchen garden” where we grow vegetables, fruits and spices being used for our delicious breakfast. Thanks to our location, rooms have natural ventilation and light, which make them fresh and clear, reducing the energy use. My name is Jose, and I am glad to put my experience to continue our family business. My mother Lucia is Galapagueña and my grandfather was one of the first generation of teachers in the Galapagos, which has always inspired him to promote education as the main path to protect the Galapagos. I became a Galapagos naturalist guide in 2008 and since I´ve been lucky to travel around the world, including exciting places like the Everest Base Camp, Antarctica and the Amazon. Casa Playa Mann is located in a quiet area, just 50 meters from Playa Mann Beach. You will specially enjoy the peace and quietness during your sleep at night. It is located a bit a part, but just 10-15 minutes walk from town, this makes this place have the best location. We are also located very close to some of the tourist attractions of San Cristobal Island such as Interpretation Center (100 meters), Cerro Tijeretas (10 minutes walk) and Punta Carola Beach (15 minutes walk).
