Hidden deep within over 100 hectares of protected rainforest, this newly built home offers space, privacy, and sweeping panoramic jungle views from every room.
The house features three individually designed bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. One suite includes a handcrafted wooden bathtub, another an outdoor shower, and the third a spacious double shower. One room also offers a small workspace, ideal for longer stays.
All windows are fitted with mosquito screens, and all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans for comfort.
The open living area combines a fully equipped kitchen — including a dishwasher — with a cozy lounge. Large openings connect indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing natural light, fresh air, and jungle sounds to flow through the house.
Please note: the outdoor area is still in progress and the pool is not yet completed. The house is currently offered at a special opening rate.
Welcome to Wild Wasi — “Wasi” means “house” in the indigenous Kichwa language.
We are a German–Ecuadorian family who created this place as a long-held dream: to build and share a small collection of homes immersed in the rainforest, combining comfort with a deep connection to nature.
My husband was born and raised in this region, and his family comes from this part of the forest. His knowledge and connection to the area shape many of the experiences we offer and allow guests to discover the rainforest in a more genuine and personal way.
We live nearby and are available whenever needed, while fully respecting your privacy during your stay.
Many of our guests value the authenticity of this place — it is not a tourist hotspot, but a quiet and personal experience of the jungle. At the same time, we aim to provide everything needed for a comfortable and well-cared-for stay.
Optional services such as guided jungle tours, on-site massages, breakfast boxes, and private dinners are available to make your stay even more special.
Set within a protected rainforest, the area offers a peaceful and immersive nature experience, far from typical tourist routes. This is a place where the jungle still feels untouched. Expect birdsong, occasional wildlife sightings, and uninterrupted views over the jungle canopy.
The surroundings are ideal for guests looking to slow down and experience a more genuine side of Ecuador. Instead of organized tourism, you’ll find space, privacy, and a direct connection to nature.
Private trails on the property lead you to small hidden spots, including a small waterfall, a giant tree, and paths along a nearby stream. Allowing you to explore the rainforest at your own pace. Guided tours offer deeper insight into the flora, fauna, and local knowledge. Visits to a nearby wildlife rescue center can also be arranged with a private guide.
The property feels secluded, while still offering a comfortable and safe environment. Another house is located on the land but positioned with enough distance and natural screening to ensure privacy.
This location is best suited for couples, friends, or families with older children who appreciate authenticity and a peaceful, nature-focused stay.
