Host Tarmo was born on the island of Saaremaa and feels a deep connection to its peaceful nature and unique culture. Coming from a family with strong seafaring traditions, and working as a sailor himself, the sea has always been an important part of his life. We are especially proud that our holiday home is located in the birthplace village of the Antarctic explorer and sailor Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen.

Location & Surroundings Our holiday house is located in the village of Lahetaguse, in a special area designed to reflect the traditional layout of old villages. The homes are spaced far apart, creating a peaceful, private atmosphere. Most buildings are constructed using natural, eco-friendly materials, and many neighbouring properties are used mainly as summer homes — so tranquillity is guaranteed. The sea is just 200 meters away, offering magnificent views and the chance to see horses wandering along the coastline. Another lovely beach, Pihla Rand, is located a few kilometres away and is ideal for swimming and bathing. The nearest grocery store is approximately 15 km away. Nearby Restaurants Pilguse Residency – Modern Estonian cuisine in a peaceful countryside setting. Perfect for a relaxed dinner. Winter opening hours may vary; reservations are recommended.
