Suurkivi Nature Escape is a peaceful rural retreat set within 40 acres of untouched coastal meadow in Häädemeeste, South-West Estonia. Surrounded by birdsong, pine forest, sea air and open space, it is a place for guests who want to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy a simple stay away from the rush of everyday life. The property offers cozy wooden cabins, shared toilet and shower facilities, a shared outdoor kitchen, outdoor seating areas and free parking. The cabins are simple and comfortable, making them ideal for a digital detox. There is no Wi-Fi in the cabins, but Wi-Fi is available in the shared kitchen area. The seaside is around a 300 m walk from the cabins. To reach the more private sandy area, guests can continue through shallow water for about another 200 m. The seabed can be muddy and rocky, so water shoes are recommended. SUP boards may also be available, making the journey to the sandy area part of the experience. Suurkivi is not a commercial resort, but a small nature escape with basic shared facilities, plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere. It is best suited for guests who enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, birds, forest paths, simple living and peaceful evenings under the open sky.

After living abroad for several years and travelling around the world, I returned to Estonia to continue a chapter that had always felt unfinished. Suurkivi is a special place for me, peaceful, wild, simple and full of potential. It is still a work in progress, but every year new ideas slowly become reality. I created Suurkivi for people who want to slow down, spend time in nature and experience something more personal than a standard hotel or commercial campsite. My aim is to offer a warm, relaxed and honest stay, where guests can enjoy space, birdsong, sea air, forest paths and quiet evenings. Suurkivi is not about luxury. It is about simplicity, nature and feeling welcome. I hope guests arrive with an open mind and leave feeling rested, lighter and connected to this peaceful corner of Häädemeeste. Suurkivi Nature Escape is located in Häädemeeste, a quiet coastal village in South-West Estonia, close to Pärnu and the Latvian border. The area is peaceful, rural and rich in nature, making it a lovely place for guests who enjoy slow travel, fresh air and simple outdoor experiences. The surrounding landscape is beautifully diverse. Here you can find coastal meadows, pine forests, sand dunes, bogs, quiet village roads and the sea. It is a great area for walking, cycling, birdwatching, nature photography or simply enjoying the calm atmosphere. Häädemeeste also has a long maritime and shipbuilding history. In the village and nearby coastal areas, you can still see traces of this heritage, including old captain houses, memorials and traditional wooden homes. Nearby places worth visiting include Tolkuse Bog Nature and Study Trail, Kabli Bird Station and Nature Centre, Kabli beach, Nigula Nature Reserve and the beautiful coastal roads towards Ikla and Latvia. Pärnu, Estonia’s summer capital, is also within driving distance for restaurants, shops, spas and city life. The neighborhood is quiet and local, so we kindly ask guests to respect the peaceful village atmosphere, especially in the evening and at night. It is the kind of place where nature, silence and space are the main attractions.
