Summary: Aswan to Abu Simbel Cruise (5 Days) This five-day program aboard the DONGOLAH explores Lake Nasser, blending visits to rescued Nubian archaeological sites with the natural beauty of the desert. Day 1: Aswan - Kalabsha - Ghazal. The journey sails south, visiting the relocated temples of Kalabsha and Beit el Wali. Lunch is served while sailing, followed by a swim in the lake. The day ends with a starlit dinner and anchoring at the Khour El Ghazal Creek. Day 2: Wildlife and Desert. Sunrise allows for viewing gazelles and wild donkeys. The ship heads towards Wadi El Seboua. Stop at Abu Sheta for hikes in the golden sand dunes and exotic bird watching near small lagoons. Later, a swim near the village of Maria. Anchor overnight at Wadi Al Seboua. Day 3: Temples and Crocodiles. A full day dedicated to history and nature. Visits to the relocated temples of Dakka (Pselchis) and Wadi El Seboua (featuring a sphinx pathway of Ramses II). Swimming in the tranquil waters of Wadi El Arab bay. On the way to Amada, passengers may spot some of the lake's crocodiles basking in the sun. Anchor for the night at Amada.
