La vivienda se encuentra emplazada en una ubicación privilegiada, en pleno corazón de la Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai, próxima a la estación de tren y autobús (conexiones a Bilbao, Gernika y Bakio). A pocos metros de las playas de Hondartzape y Laidatxu y conexión a través de ferry a la playa de Laida ubicada en la cercana localidad de Ibarrangelua. Los alrededores de la vivienda son idóneos para practicar deportes como Surf, Paddle Surf, snorkel, kayak, pesca submarina y deportiva y disfrutar de paseos en barco (avistamiento de cetáceos) y a pie junto al mar a localidades cercanas como Bermeo a tan solo 2,5Km (San Juan de Gaztelugatxe) y Busturia (Centro Educación Ambiental y Biodiversidad Ekoetxea). También se puede practicar senderismo a San Pedro Atxarre (desde Ibarrangelua), Sollube (montes bocineros) y resto de caminos rurales y bosques que nos rodean. El aeropuérto de Bilbao se encuentra a tan sólo 30 km de Mundaka y la ciudad de Bilbao a 40 Km (Museos Guggenheim y Bellas Artes, Conjunto Histórico del Casco Viejo, Palacio de Congresos y de la Música Euskalduna, Teatro Arriaga, paseo de Abandoibarra y el nuevo Manhattan, la isla de Zorrozaurre ). La agenda cultural de Mundaka y su entorno recogen multitud de eventos gastronómicos, fiestas populares (San Pedro, Atorrak eta Lamiak en Carnavales, Magdalenas) y eventos musicales (Bay of Biscay Festival y Bilbao BBK Live), entre otros.
