What we love - 2 wonderful covered exterior terraces - Children’s slide on the lawn area - Country location, without being too far from town - Mature gardens and pretty outdoor space Things to know - Due to the size and layout of the villa, it is best suited to smaller groups of 4 - 5 guests - Neighbouring houses can sometimes be heard when families enjoy the exteriors and pool, particularly in peak season. It is not obtrusive, but nice to know before you book - The double bed upstairs is 135 cm x 190 cm - The twin bedroom beds are L-shaped and cannot be pushed together - AC in the bedrooms only. The rest of the villa is kept cool with thick stone walls and sea breeze - Maximum 1 cot and 1 highchair Ca Na Margalida is a small and charming villa with traditional Mallorcan style. It's located between Pollensa's old town and the bay, just 5km from Puerto Pollensa. It's perfect for a maximum of 4-5 people and offers a relaxing getaway. The villa has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the countryside. It has a lovely covered terrace with an old Mallorcan bread oven and a portable gas BBQ for outdoor cooking and dining. The terrace leads to the inviting pool area, surrounded by a green lawn and plants. The outdoor space is the highlight, with a terrace by the front door for relaxation and another by the BBQ for outdoor meals while keeping an eye on the kids in the pool. The property also has fruit-bearing trees like figs and persimmons. One special thing about Ca Na Margalida is the owner's warm hospitality. They care about your comfort and go the extra mile, even giving you fresh figs, grapes, or oranges as a welcoming gift. Inside, the villa is comfortable with a kitchen, a cosy living/dining area, and 3 bedrooms. The villa is designed for relaxation, and its location is perfect for exploring both Pollensa's old town and Puerto Pollensa's beautiful beaches. The northern foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana are the backdrop of the historic old town of Pollença, just a few kilometers from the beautiful sandy beaches of the port. Pollensa is a popular destination for painters and artists with a special charm and personality since the beginning of this Century. The market square with outdoor cafés and elegant restaurants is the focal point of this unique village, where the market takes place every Sunday from 8am - 1pm. Throughout the year there are various musical events and fiestas, the most famous being the Moors and Chrisitians battle which takes place on 2nd August. The town is a great base for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. We recommend you climb the 365 steps, one for each day of the year, of the Calvari, from here you have fantastic views of the North of the island and the rooftops of Pollensa. There is a small chapel at the top and a cafe to quench your thirst.
