Cal Valero was once a distillery. Then a pastry shop. After years of neglect, the Valero family bought the house and began to restore it. Attempts have been made to save as much if the old parts as possible and the materials are in a large extent recycled or reused. The idea is to make the house as sustainable as possible. Therefore we use among other things solar heat pumps, clean energy and less polluting materials. The house now consists of 4 apartments. The old henhouse converted into a studio in the attic for 3 persons (maximum 4), the old workers' apartment on the third floor converted into an apartment for 6 (maximum 8) persons, the "apartment" where the current owners live on the second plant and the old distillery / pastry shop on the first floor that is being converted into a "bodega" and apartment.
