Located in the town of Canfranc-Estación, with views of mountains over 2,000 meters high, this cozy apartment sleeps 4 and is situated in a quiet area with spectacular views. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just minutes from the Astún and Candanchú ski resorts and numerous trails for hiking, cycling, and trail running—a paradise for sports enthusiasts. Next to the Aragón River, where you can enjoy fishing. Canfranc Estación has a medical center, pharmacy, hairdresser, municipal swimming pools, a climbing gym, train and bus stops, a tourist office, and a wide variety of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops for convenient shopping. Canfranc has companies that organize all kinds of mountain activities. Nearby, you'll find spectacular climbing areas for all levels, as well as some very interesting via ferratas. Notable events include the reenactment of the station's inauguration on July 18th, the legendary Canfranc-Canfranc Trail Race on the second weekend of September, the Pyrenees Junior & Classic music courses in June and July, and the Jazzetania Jazz Festival with performances in unique venues such as the Canfranc Church and the station's esplanade. The Cheese and Pyrenees Products Fair is held in early August. The Book Fair and Gastronomic Fair typically take place during August. Due to ongoing maintenance and improvement work on the building's roof, scaffolding and a fine mesh have been installed. This does not obstruct the passage of light or the view of the outside. In love with the mountains, I begin this "adventure" with the hope of facilitating the enjoyment of this very special environment for all those who choose to spend a few days here.

Located at the source of the Aragón River, near the Astún and Candanchú ski resorts, the recently renovated International Train Station, now a luxury hotel, is a highlight and can be visited on a guided tour. In the surrounding area, there are over 300 km of marked trails. These include the GR 11 Trans-Pyrenean Trail, which connects the Cantabrian Sea with the Mediterranean; the Aragonese Way of St. James; the P Line, a route of bunkers built after the Spanish Civil War; the Holy Grail Route; the beautiful Izas Valleys, with its Negras Waterfall; and Canal Roya, from which you can access the Anayet Lake and peak. There are also several climbing areas and two via ferratas: one recently opened near the Coll de los Ladrones Castle (K3+) and another at the Candanchú ski resort, La Zapatilla. In short, it's ideal for enjoying a few active days in nature.
