I am Rosi Andrade and I live in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, Mallorca, with my husband Andy, my daughter, our choco Labrador Manabi and our Yorkie Tresor. I am a Spanish teacher, but my first degree was in Tourism. I was born in Ecuador and as a nature lover I decided to dedicate my life to building bridges between cultures to understand more about our world. I spend my time helping people with their communication skills in Spanish. They are from all over the world, all of them meet in one classroom with me. What an honor! And I thought why not meet them in my own home? That is how my husband Andy and I set about opening Casa Caimari Guest House. We hope you enjoy it!

Casa Caimari is a beautiful, friendly, family-run guest house, fully licensed by the Ministry of Tourism (TI/155), located in the foothills of Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO world heritage site for its outstanding natural beauty. Caimari is ideally located for exploring the island's incredible beaches, mountains, and historic towns and villages, with the city of Palma just a half-hour drive to the west and the long unspoilt sandy white beaches of Alcúdia and Muró twenty minutes northeast. The house dates from 1882 and has been lovingly restored by hosts Rosi and Andy. Four small beautifully decorated rooms are open to guests, with double beds. All rooms have an on-suite bathroom with shower, central heating for the winter months, coffee-making facilities, free wifi, and a simple breakfast to go, included in the price. We are environmentally conscious and bathroom bio-amenities are 0% plastic. Communal areas are all open to guests, as are the patio and garden to the rear of the house until closing time, 10 pm. We have two very friendly dogs, Manabi (a chocolate labrador) and Trèsor (a Yorkie), who will be delighted to meet you too :) The family provides accommodation mainly for young people and requests respect for the house rules.

Caimari is a short drive away from the monastery at Lluc, one of the island's highlights. Beyond Lluc, a winding road through spectacular mountain scenery brings you to breathtaking coastal villages and beaches such as Sa Calobra, Soller and Deia. Caimari is the perfect base for cyclists, hikers and climbers, as well as for those who simply want to relax. A stay in Caimari is a chance to experience real rural Mallorca, far from the tourist trail and close to local villages with their markets. Caimari, one of Mallorca's largest producers of olives, holds its olive and oil fair each November.
