Discover our little corner of paradise in the heart of Lanzarote. Casa Gatti is part of a historic Canarian house protected by Lanzarote's Heritage, restored with love to preserve the original charm and authenticity of early 20th-century architecture. This is not a standardized or "hotel-perfect" accommodation: it's a real house, with a story. During the renovation we deliberately chose to intervene as little as possible, keeping the original materials and surfaces. In some places you can still see the signs of time, traces of the past that we chose to respect rather than cover up. The apartment is fully private and includes a spacious bedroom, a cosy living area and a large bathroom. The only shared space is the ground-floor entrance, used only to reach the stairs: from there on, the space is entirely yours. There isn't a full kitchen, but you'll find everything you need for a slow breakfast or a simple meal: fridge, kettle, microwave and dishes. There's also a table for eating comfortably, including takeaway food. There are restaurants and typical local spots nearby, easy to reach. One important thing to know before booking: during your stay you may share the bedroom window with turtle doves, which often choose this spot to nest. It's a presence tied to the nature and rural setting of the house. If this isn't for you, Casa Gatti might not be the right accommodation. In short, staying at Casa Gatti means living a genuine immersion in Canarian style, in an authentic house surrounded by nature. Casa Gatti isn't a hotel: it's our home, which we live in and care for every day. We ask you to treat it with the same respect and care you'd give your own. If you're looking for an anonymous experience, without responsibility toward the space hosting you, a hotel will suit you better.

We’re happy to welcome you to our traditional Canarian home, built in 1900. We live here with four cats – but don’t worry, they won’t come into contact with you, especially if you’re not a fan or have allergies. Hosting travellers from all over the world is one of our greatest joys. We love meeting new people and sharing stories about our years living in Lanzarote. Our home is in a perfect location – just 10 minutes from the sea and 15 minutes from the city, making it an ideal base to explore every part of Lanzarote. At the same time, you'll be surrounded by the peace of a traditional inland village, where life moves at a slower pace. Right across the street, there’s a small grocery store – perfect for picking up essentials without needing to head into town.
