Property info

Casa Licerio is a taste of home for weary pilgrims. Casa Licerio is a country house of hospitality in Samos, Galicia, Spain on the route of the Camino de Santiago. Casa Licerio provides accommodations for up 10 guests in private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Although we cater primarily to pilgrims, all visitors and guests are welcome. A very complete breakfast is served as buffet from 7am. An evening meal is bookable for up to 6 persons with prior notice.

The people of Samos are pretty incredible people! They will all do their best to make you feel welcome. Take the chance to meet Angeles and Lourdes at the grocery store across the street. Enjoy some of the best salads on the Camino at Albaroque's or the amazing homemade desserts at Hotel A Veiga! Cafe España serves some great croissants and their "napolitanas" are the best ones on the camino. You don't want to miss the guided tours at the Monastery which run every hour on the half hour from 9:30 until 6:30 (except for 2:30, siesta time). Take a walk along the Rio Sarria on the "Paseo de Malecon" on the east end of town which crosses over the bridge and ends at the 9th century chapel with a 1000 year old cypress tree. Legend has it that if you hug the tree, you arrive to Santiago with healthy feet! Samos is truly a gem on the Camino. Don't miss out! Take the road to the left as you leave Triacastela.
