Casa Sofija offers an en-suite bedroom with its own private door access. You are also welcome to use a swimming pool surrounded by the serene environment of La Maroma Mountain. Situated 810m above sea level on the edge of a protected Natural Park of Sierra de Tejeda, the house captures beautiful sea views framed between mountains on the horizon. Great for anyone looking for nature and beautiful hiking tracks of La Maroma, Puente Colgante El Saltillo and Mirador de Los Pozuelos, and many more! The listing is for a private en-suite guestroom which has its own private door access. The room comes equipped with a twin bed (which can be put together or apart) and a private and spacious bathroom with a shower. There is a large wardrobe to store your luggage and clothes, a small fridge and tea/coffee station available in the room. The guests are also welcome to use the refreshing swimming pool (available only during the warm months from 1st July until 1st of October and remains covered throughout the remainder of the year) filled with water from the mountains and have access to the summer kitchen outdoors. Meanwhile, other parts of the house, such as the living room and the kitchen, are not shared with the guests. Please note that while the guest area is private, Casa Sofija is also home to Fabio, a friendly outdoor cat who may occasionally greet you near the entrance or in the garden. He does not enter the guestroom or any indoor spaces reserved for guests, but he’s always happy to say hello if you like animals. Free non-gated public parking is available on the side of the road right near the house. We regret to inform you that pets are not allowed to stay at the property.

The house is about 5min drive or 20min walk from the village of Sedella and the nearest restaurants. A larger village of Canilas the Aceituno is only 15min drive west, whilst Competa, the most popular destination in the province, can be reached in under 30min driving east. The house is just over an hour away from the city of Malaga and its airport. The house is also only a 40min drive via picturesque roads of Andalucia from the nearest coastal town of Torre Del Mar. The nearest city is Velez-Malaga reachable in only 30min.
