Tías is just a few km from the airport and ideally located for visiting the sights. A typical village of Lanzarote with all amenities; supermarkets, restaurants, bars, pharmacy. It has been the town where Literature had its refuge, José Saramago, a Portuguese writer who decided to adopt Tías as his home. You will be able to visit, his House Museum, where all the objects, books and memories of his life, of the Nobel Prize for Literature, are located. The coast of Tías forms more than 6 km of beaches, such as Playa Grande, Matagorda and Los Pocillos, in the coastal and tourist enclave of Tías, Puerto del Carmen, with a wide range of leisure and tourism, including restaurants and shops, as well as a marina for water activities or boat trips.
