Casa Vista Bermeja is a modern, superior apartment situated in a quiet residential area of the rural agricultural village of Tinajo. It has views of the Bermeja volcano and the Atlantic Ocean from every window. It is situated on the edges of the Timanfaya National Park, the area of El Jable and ideally placed for walkers, cyclists and many other sporting pursuits. There is a tidal lagoon nearby for open water swimming. Surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, paragliding and scuba diving are also available within easy reach. It has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (one with a bath and shower, one with a rainforest shower) and a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The bedrooms can be configured as single or as a double bed if you prefer. The apartment comprises more than 110 square meters internal space along with large outdoor areas with well kept garden and sun-bathing terrace. It uses renewable energy to provide constant hot water and underfloor heating if required during the winter months. Temperatures rarely fall that low but it’s great to have when you need it! The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. There is a sun terrace with sun loungers and a second terrace with outdoor dining furniture for your exclusive use. There is also secure storage available for bikes and sports equipment.

Our rural property nestles within an area of Lanarote known for its farming community. There isn't an English or Irish bar for miles and certainly not a nightclub or karaoke bar to disturb the peace. However, there are plenty of good restaurants and tapas bars for the independent traveller to enjoy. Make it as fast paced or relaxed as you want - both are possible here - but the special blend of readily available activities mixed with restful tranquillity are key reasons why guests choose this side of the island. Generally, Tinajo is cooler than other parts of the island and doesn't get as many days of clear blue skies as other parts of the island. Using your hire car however, you can access the whole island easily (nothing is more than an hour away) and reach some wonderful sunbathing spots which we can recommend to you. We can recommend and arrange a number of activities for you, all of which can be booked before you even arrive here.

Casa Vista Bermeja faces the Atlantic Ocean and is named after the red volcano visible from the lounge and bedroom windows. On the left are the volcanoes of the Timanfaya National Park. To the right, is the village of La Santa, and beyond the Club La Santa Sport Resort, and the impressive cliffs of Famara. Across the sea can be seen the uninhabited islands of Alegranza (nesting site of the Egyptian Vulture, or Guirre), Montana Clara, and the inhabited island of La Graciosa (a marine reserve.)
