Dunasol is a former aparthotel complex that was turned into private apartments a few years ago. The complex is home to many locals and as such it is not the tidiest or most glamorous looking. However, it has a very friendly vibe & a fab communal pool and sunbathing area and our flat on the first floor is south facing, light, airy, peaceful, private and has one of the best views in Corralejo. The flat has very recently been refurbished. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, full oven, dishwasher and all the utensils you might need. The living room has a huge comfy sofa-bed & flat screen Smart TV, BlueRay & DVD player. The bathroom has a lovely rain shower and the washing machine is found in here. The bedroom has a new double bed and plenty of clothes storage, as well as a safe. The terrace, not only has the best view of the dunes, but is very private and south facing - so you get the sun all day. We offer super fast reliable internet to our guests.
We bought this flat a few of years ago and have spent time renovating it and using it ourselves. We love it. We primarily bought it for the view. We are a British/French couple living in the UK and love to escape the winter to the total relaxation and laid-back atmosphere of Fuerte. This flat is a big part of that. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Dunasol is on the edge of Corralejo right next to the Dunes Natural Park , 20/25 mins walk into the old town along the beach, 5 mins walk to El Campanario shopping centre (with its supermarket, restaurants & markets) and most importantly a roughly 5 mins walk to the closest beach. The big advantage of this location is its proximity to the Grandes Playas (Big Beaches) - the start of these is a 15/20 min stroll away and they continue for around 7km south with unspoilt soft sandy beaches. The flat is across the road from the Dunes system that Corralejo is famous for. In fact, the balcony looks-out over an uninterrupted view of the dunes to the beautiful volcanoes in the distance. We bought the flat for this view. It is stunning and relaxing. We love to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine, playing cards, watching the sun go down, it is very special.
