Hubara Retreat is situated in the unspoilt country side of the north of Lanzarote. There is a sea view and the sea along with coastal walks and deserted beaches is within walking distance. The house is alongside a nature reserve for the Hubara bird of Lanzarote. It is the perfect place to relax and wind down as there are no noise distractions and at night no light pollution so a perfect evening of star gazing can be enjoyed. Many cycling and walking routes can be enjoyed directly from the house. We can put you in touch with a bike rental company that brings the bikes to the house. All of the Lanzarote bird life and wildlife can be enjoyed either from the house directly or on the cycling and walking routes. There are spots nearby such as Charco de Palo or Arrietta to enjoy the fresh clear waters of Lanzarote either for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding and sun bathing.

The area immediately around the house is great for walking, cycling, swimming in the sea, sunbathing, scuba diving and enjoying the numerous excellent restaurants serving excellent local food and fresh fish. All around the North of the island similar activities can be enjoyed. The climbing of Volcan Corona the tallest Volcano on the island. Walking down the path on the Mirador del Rio that the fish sellers of Graciosa used to take to get their fish to the market that ends on the beach near the Salinas del Rio A boat trip to the Island of Graciosa that leaves from the harbour of Orzola. A walk along the top of the Famara cliffs with a spectacular view over Famara beach.
