Renovating Casa Palacio is a family project. Will you help us? My grandmother was born in Buera, and I've always had a special connection to this small village in the Sierra de Guara mountains. After many years of visiting Buera, a couple of years ago my wife Monica and I bought Casa Palacio with the intention of renovating it and enjoying it with family and friends. We started with an apartment in the attic (falsa in Aragonese, hence the name), but once it was finished, we realized it didn't make much sense to use it only during holidays and some weekends. We also realized that if we rented the apartment out as tourist accommodation, we could continue restoring other parts of the house (first floor, cellar, patio, etc.). And that's exactly what we did. We hope you enjoy your stay at La Falsa de Palacio!
I studied Biology and work as a science teacher at a secondary school. I enjoy hiking, reading, playing chess, and especially visiting antique and secondhand markets.
