La Masia Alt Penedès is surrounded by protected forest and organic vineyards. The mountainous landscape offers up ever-changing views of jaw-dropping beauty and natural serenity. Our three dogs Rufus, Paco & Lady love to show guests around and take them on their favourite bush walks. Just a 20 minute walk up the mountain that looks over the property at 900 metres above sea level stands La Hermita de Sant Joan, an 11th century stone edifice that was build by hand by the Romans. At the top of your trek, breathtaking views of the Penedès region and the tips of the Pyrenees mountains await. On a clear day those views stretch as far as the Mediterranean sea some 40km away.
