In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety.

The traveler registration form must be filled in at check-in with the details of guests aged 16 and over. The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests. And also, the travel registrations must be registered by the host in a travel register book, which can be in physical or digital format, with a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 500 pages.

For stays equal to or less than 10 days will be considered tourist housing - tourist contract. Stays longer than 10 days will be considered seasonal rentals according to decree law 9/2024 of the Generalitat Valenciana, having to sign a seasonal rental contract.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

A damage deposit of € 200 is required. The property charges this days before arrival. This will be collected by PayPal. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by PayPal, subject to an inspection of the property.
