Hi I am a retired lady based in the UK and consider myself very lucky to have found such a lovely apartment that marries the modern with a Spanish influence in such an idyllic spot. I visit a number of times a year to swim ,cycle and run having competed in far too many long distance triathlons . I now enjoy volunteering in far flung places , mostly with wild animal . have a gorgeous Shihpoo pup called Bobbi who comes with me whenever possible . We both love the morning and evening walks along the prom.
Port de Pollensa is a haven for outdoor sports. D for relaxing in the sunshine. The local people re very friendly and the place feels very safe for a lone traveller. If you are lucky enough to be there during one of Spains many festivals the whole community gathers on the square to celebrate.the neighbouring old towns of Pollensa and alcudia are steeped in history and well worth a visit. If you cycle the infamous majorcian climbs of Forementor, LLuc and Sa Colobra are on the doorstep.
