Boasting a shared lounge and views of quiet street, SuecaRoom Prime Experience is a recently renovated homestay set in Sueca, 32 km from L'Oceanografic. It is situated 33 km from Puerto de Valencia and offers a shared kitchen. The homestay has family rooms. All units comprise a seating area with a sofa, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a fridge. The units include a coffee machine, a shared bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms also offer a terrace and some have inner courtyard views. At the homestay, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Sightseeing tours are available within easy reach. Sueca is officially a tourist municipality. The capital of Ribera Baixa has received from the regional Secretary of Tourism the distinction accrediting it as the 'Tourist Municipality of the Valencian Community'. Sueca Festival and Fair. The first fortnight of September sees the city's patron saint festivities dedicated to the Holy Christ of l'Hospitalet (the Sunday before the Virgin's feast day) and to the Virgin of Sales, celebrated on September 8. Highlights include the main procession, accompanied by dance groups and ancient chants, representatives of brotherhoods, biblical characters, etc. But there are also more entertaining activities, such as the Rice Festival featuring the "International Paella Contest", of national tourist interest, where chefs from around the world will prepare the best paella, and the "Rice Parade". International Mime Festival. Usually held in September, after the patron saint festivities, it is considered one of the main showcases of mimes and dance in the world.
