We are a family run business which has been growing rapidly since Summer 2007. The company is the creation of Tila and Michelle Braddock. The concept of Lanzarote Retreats developed from Tila and Michelle´s desire to offer stylish & eco-friendly holiday accommodation, mainly in and around Arrieta, a stunning, rural village in the North of the island, which they love and where they brought up their family. These days the business is run by Joshua, their eldest son. From organising car hire, arranging days out, recommending restaurants and beaches, the team at Lanzarote Retreats have over 20 years of experience of living, working, entertaining children and enjoying Lanzarote. The Beach House enjoys a peaceful location in a residential area of Costa Teguise, just a short walk from Las Cucharas beach, shops, and restaurants—no car required. This stylish and modern villa sleeps up to 4 adults and is ideal for couples, friends, or small families (children welcome if the pool Silent Zone is respected). The property features a bright open-plan kitchen and dining area with all essential appliances, plus a comfortable lounge that opens onto a private, solar-heated plunge pool with wooden decking. Please note the villa is set over split levels and includes several staircases: there are steps down to the lounge, stairs up to the master bedroom, and a steep staircase leading to the roof terrace, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The ground floor offers a twin bedroom and a spacious bathroom with corner bath and double sinks. The master bedroom is located upstairs and includes an en-suite shower room. The private roof terrace features a BBQ, outdoor dining area, and sun loungers, perfect for relaxing in the sun. While the villa does not have air conditioning / central heating, fans or electric heaters are available on request to ensure your comfort year-round. Just a short stroll from the villa, the new Nua Shopping Centre is taking shape on the beachfront at Playa Las Cucharas. Soon to feature an enticing mix of restaurants, bars, and boutique shops, it’s set to bring even more buzz and and variety to Costa Teguise. As the finishing touches are still in progress, you may notice a little daytime activity nearby, but it’s all part of the area’s exciting transformation.

Costa Teguise is a coastal town located in the east of Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands. The town is known for its beautiful beaches, excellent weather, and rich history. This town inherits its name from ‘Costa’ meaning ‘Coast’, and ‘Teguise’ which is the municipality in which the town is in. Costa Teguise itself was developed in the 1970s as part of a plan to boost tourism on the island. The area was chosen for its natural beauty, and a number of hotels, restaurants, and other tourist facilities were built in and around the town. Today, Costa Teguise is a popular tourist destination, known for its excellent beaches, water sports, and vibrant nightlife. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities, from windsurfing and kiteboarding to hiking and cycling. If you are in Costa Teguise, we highly recommend a visit to Pueblo Marinero, a charming square composed of traditional Canary buildings designed by the artist César Manrique. In addition to its picturesque architecture, Pueblo Marinero offers a range of dining, drinking, and shopping options, including a Friday evening market starting at 19.00. Costa Teguise is known for its beautiful beaches, with crystal-clear waters and soft sand. Playa Las Cucharas: This is the main beach in Costa Teguise and is popular with both locals and tourists. Playa del Jablillo: This small, secluded beach is located to the north of Playa Las Cucharas and is perfect for those who want to get away from the crowds. The beach has white sand and turquoise waters, and there are a few bars and restaurants nearby. Playa de los Charcos: This beach is located in a natural cove and is known for its calm waters, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach has soft sand and is surrounded by rocky cliffs, giving it a secluded feel. Playa Bastian: Located to the south of Playa Las Cucharas, this is a quieter beach with a more relaxed atmosphere. The beach has soft sand and clear waters, and there are plenty of amenities nearby.
