In 2010, my family and I discovered the 200-year-old old Canarian winery in the northwest of La Palma by chance. We immediately fell in love with the hacienda in an absolutely isolated and quiet location above the clouds. Today, we lovingly produce a first-class red wine by hand. Our foundations are the vine terraces in the best sunny location and ancient vines, which our predecessors built up with great effort and preserved over centuries. Not only for ourselves, but also for you as our guests, we want to make the extraordinary tranquillity and beauty of our winery accessible. We are working on this with the full support of our Palmerian neighbours and friends. Tiny House - El Nido de Sancho Situated in an old stone house at 1,380 metres above sea level and stylishly furnished, the Tiny House - El Nido de Sancho offers a spectacular sleeping space for up to 2 people. Enjoy your creative and contemplative time with incredible views of the endless Atlantic Ocean and a sky with fantastic cloud formations, which turns into a clear starry sky after a glowing red sunset at night. The Bird's Nest is located at the highest point of the new finca and has a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and the endless carpet of clouds. Before booking, please note that the access road is a bit longer and leads up a bumpy forest path and that the bathroom is only accessible via an outside staircase. Otherwise, it is beautifully situated in the middle of nature and offers absolute peace and privacy. El Nido has 1 window with a view to the south and a window and a door with a view to the northwest, a wood-burning stove, a very well-equipped small kitchen, fast and stable internet via directional radio, German SAT TV, a 1.60 m wide double bed with a comfortable mattress and a small seating area for 2 people inside and outside. The tasteful and unagitated furnishings of the house create space to relax and unwind.

The old-Canarian vineyard Hacienda La Palma is located on the sunny side in the north-west of La Palma in an absolutely unique and quiet location above Puntagorda. Due to the special altitude and wind-protected south-west orientation of the vineyard, one has an almost unique sun situation for La Palma with fantastic views of the sea, the sun and over the cloud cover. Comparable light moods will only be found extremely rarely on La Palma. You are in the middle of the hiking area in probably the most beautiful part of the island: Numerous walks, hikes and mountain bike tours through the wildly romantic almond blossom landscape and the magnificent vineyards of La Palma start directly from the Hacienda. Highly recommended, for example, is the descent to Puntagorda at the weekend. Well-maintained footpaths lead us through the centuries-old pine forests and almond groves down to the Mercadillo. This farmers' market with fresh local produce such as mangoes, papayas, avocados, honey, wholemeal bread, vegetables, etc. is the weekly meeting place of the island community in the northwest.
