Hi, my name is Vanessa, I am 26, I was born in Portugal where I lived up until I moved to Lanzarote 2 years ago with my fiance Joe. Joe helps me manage Villa Feliza when he is not working. Although Joe and my native language is Portugese, we have learnt to speak Spanish, English and my French which I spoke as a child is slowly coming back to me, I understand most but am still having some difficulty conversing, so please be gentle. However, with the aid of modern technology I am happy to say that conversing in most languages is now possible with google translate.

From the minute you walk through the door & see the 180 degree sea view, we hope you will fall in love with our Bed & Breakfast "Villa Feliza", set in its own private gardens, there is a large sun terrace with sun loungers for you to relax & soak up the sun. If it gets a little warm take a dip in our beautiful solar heated pool or relax in the jacuzzi. If it's shade you want there is a gazebo with comfortable arm chairs and sofa, the BBQ (with food preparation area) is for client use & there ia a fire pit and blankets for chilly nights. There is a dart board situated on the top terrace for your enjoyment. We also have a small library with a selection of books, mainly in English, however, we are in the process of obtaining other languages for you to enjoy aswell as board games and playing cards. We also have an information table with some of our favourite excursions and restaurant recommendations, which we can book for you. Behind the door of your private ensuite room you will find a comfortable bed, refridgerator, coffee and tea making facilities and a 32 inch smart tv with programmes available in all languages. Towels, toiletries, a sewing kit, hairdryer and ironing facilities are also there for your convenience. Breakfast is available in the comunal dining room from 08.00hrs until 10.00hrs (Please order the evening before) it is a superb buffet with a choice of teas, coffee or hot chocolate, apple juice, orange juice or pineapple juice, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cheese & cold meat, pastries and toast & a selection of preserves. As well as this their is a choice of hot dishes, scrambled, poached, boiled or fried egg on toast, beans, mushrooms or tomatoes on toast, omelette s with a selection of toppings, pancakes, vegan, lactose free & gluten free options are also available. There is also a 75 inch TV with a full spirts package & the latest movies in 120 languages for you to enjoy. Vanessa, als keeps a small stock of beer, wine, fizzy drinks & snacks to purchase.

Villa Feliza is located in Guime, a small village 5-10 minute drive from the airport, it is ideally situated for visiting all the places of interest Lanzarote has to offer, however, a car is necessary for taking in these sites. There is a good local bus service to Playa Honda, the nearest town with a multitude of beaches, shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. We recommend Patagonia a beautiful restaurant serving a wide variety of local and international cuisine, situated on the promenade with beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean, in this area there are many snack, tapas, and cocktail bars. In the other direction, is the capital Arrecife (remember Arrecife has siesta between 13-00hrs until 16-30hrs and is closed half day Saturday & all day Sunday) Saturday is market day between 08.00hrs - 14.00hrs. Guime itself has a bar called La Bodeguita a 10 minute walk from Villa Feliza, it is run by Andres who speaks Spanish, English and German, he specialises in the most amazing Gin Cocktails, with a wide choice of Wines & beers. He also offers snacks and home baked cakes. There is a small supermarket about a 20 minute walk or 2 minutes in the car, as is the church & local social club. The nearest resort is Puerto del Carmen where you will find a multitude of souvenir shops, bars, restaurants of all types, beaches, watersports, night clubs & much more. Our favourites are Serenity cocktail bar which also serves food from the rooftop bar, on the middle floor is an al a carte restaurant & at street level a designer shop called Koala Bay, Sebastyns (Atlantico Lounge) is another of our favourites however, is a little on the pricey side. Antica Trattoria (booking required) is an amazing restaurant with a wide variety of dishes including pizza, pasta, fish & meat along with awesome daily specials, if its a grill your after then it has to be El Torro or Casadero. If you fancy partying until the small hours, the old town harbour and the Heineken Bar.
