Frontera is a municipality located in the western part of the island of El Hierro. This municipality borders with El Pinar and Valverde, and stands out for the quality of its gastronomic products from El Hierro, among which are the quesadillas, its excellent wines, smoked cheeses and the cultivation of tropical pineapple.
