Welcome to Abbi’s Cottage (Abbis Lillstuga) 2 km from the sea in the idyllic village of Norra Vallgrund, just 30 km from Vaasa. If you are looking for a unique, "off-the-beaten-path" experience, this charming 1800s log cabin offers a peaceful atmosphere near the heart of Kvarken, a UNESCO World Heritage area. The cottage is ideal for solo travelers, groups of two or three adults, or families with two adults and two children. If needed, we can provide an additional baby cot/crib upon request and additional beds. Pet-Friendly Stay: We are happy to welcome your furry friends! We know that pets are part of the family, and they are more than welcome to enjoy the archipelago with you. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own linen and towels. Alternatively, these can be provided for an additional fee. Please note that guests are responsible for cleaning the cottage before check-out. Cleaning supplies are provided. Next to the cottage, you’ll find a refreshing heated outdoor shower and a modern eco-toilet (dry closet). We offer our guest`s a self-service wood-fired sauna. Guests are welcome to heat the sauna at their own pace; firewood is includd. The cottage includes a cozy living room, a kitchenette, and a sleeping alcove with a double bed and an upper bunk perfect for a child.— all for your private use. The kitchen is equipped for cooking. Fresh drinking water is inside in a canister. Outdoor You will find a private deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities—ideal for long summer evenings. Whether you're looking to slow down, reconnect with nature, or spend quality time with family, the cottage and its surroundings offer the perfect setting for rest and relaxation. Take a peaceful walk to the harbor, just 2 km away. We have some old bicycles available for guests who wish to discover the nearby villages. During the summer, you will meet our chickens on the property and maybe our dog Zaga. There is a electric heater inside and a Högfors stove.

Abbi’s Lillstuga is located in the heart of the idyllic village of Norra Vallgrund, 2 km from the harbor, 7 km from Replot center and 30 km from Vaasa. The village is scenic and peaceful, and just 2 km away you’ll find a charming harbor lined with traditional boathouses. Things to do: Take a relaxing walk to the beach, only 2 km from the cottage. For those who enjoy outdoor games, we provide badminton, footballs, croquet, and more — perfect for spending time together. In Norra Vallgrund, you’ll also find a frisbee golf course, a football field, and a swimming beach. We highly recommend a visit to Svedjehamn in Björköby, where you can climb the Saltkaret lookout tower for stunning views of the UNESCO-listed Kvarken Archipelago. Another great destination is Fort Sommarö, a beautiful and historic area ideal for a trip.
