Whispering Woods in Juornaankylä, Askola offers a refurbished cabin located in idyllic Finnish countryside, in the middle of fields and forests. The space is suitable for any group looking for spending peaceful time in the nature, families with children as well as adults looking for a tranquil holiday. The property features the main cabin, porch, terrace, two saunas (electric and wooden), summer kitchen, playhouse, outdoor seating area and parking places. The cabin has a bedroom with folding doors, a kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace. The bathroom has floor heating with showers, indoor toilet, washing machine and an electric sauna. The barrel sauna has a wooden stove, a sauna room with a bed, a large terrace with table, chairs, sofa and a refrigerator. The summer kitchen offers a dining group in the yard and it has a gas grill and necessary grilling equipment, a freezer and a water heater. The playhouse has various children’s books, toys, games and sports equipment. The cabin is used all year around comfortably. Guests enjoy air-conditioning and heating with an air-to-air heat pump, electric radiators, and a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary equipment, washing machine, and free on-site private parking. Additional amenities include a gas grill, baby cot and free toiletries. Water in the cottage comes from our own well. The well has been renovated in 2024. The water quality has been examined and it is safe to drink and use. From time to time, there might be slight smell or colouring in the water. You can bring your drinking water (closest shop is 10 minutes’ drive away) and use our 10 lt. drinking water canister. Located 25 km from Porvoo, 8 km from Askola, and 70 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Driving from Helsinki takes 1 hour. Nearby attractions include The Giant's Kettles of Askola (15 km), Takajärvi beach (8 km), Valkjärvi beach (10 km), and Old Porvoo (25 km).
