In December-April evenings, weather permitting, the cabins can be moved to be on the ice of Lake Inari. This property is 0.9 mi from Inari Village in Finnish Lapland. Heating, bed linen and a toilet are provided during your stay at Mobile Cabins Lake Inari. In connection to the main service building, you will find a shower, a kitchen, a lounge and a BBQ. I have a small, characteristic and friendly place. In the evening at 8pm we will move the cabins (and you inside of it) 1,5km to the middle of the lake. There you have over 10 meters of water beneath your cabin with unique atmosphere, best chance to see the northern lights and a cosy cabin to sleep well. Ice is really strong and overnighting on the lake ice is completely safe. You can also adjust the cabin temperature by your self by it's heater control panel. We also have 24/7 support phone service for our visitors. In the morning we will move the cabins back to the base camp facilities and breakfast.
Best about mobile cabins is that we can meet guests from all over the world and show them the beauty of winter. We offer activities that we also enjoy such as skiing and fishing. Warmly welcome to be our guest!
Neighbourhood of the base camp is quiet because it is located 1,5km from the village. You can join our activities during day time, please check Lake Inari dot com and Visit Inari dot fi. Sami Museum Siida or culture house Sajos are nice indoor visit places in the village.
