Naamijoki, Pello, Finland A fully renovated heritage log house that accommodates 4 - 6 persons. The history of the house goes back to 1930's when the current owner's grandparents built it as their family home. It was carefully renovated in 2006 to preserve its history and offer modern facilities at the same time. Myllyn Pirtti is in a rural environment 20 km North from Pello only a few kilometers from the Torneriver (Tornionjoki). The nearest river Naamijoki flows within 100 meters. Distance from Rovaniemi is about 120 km and from Ylläs about 100 km. Kilpisjärvi and the Norwegian border is about 350 km from here.

The host with his wife live in a separate house at the same property.

The cottage is ideally situated for cross country skiing: almost 100 km maintained tracks suited both for traditional and freestyle skiing can be reached right by stepping out of the cottage. Skiing season is usually long: from December until May. In the summer you can run or walk on a 3 km track in the middle of the woods. Naamivaara recreational area with a winter sledding hill, self-service hut with an open fire place and a 20-hole discgolf course is only one kilometer away. We welcome the whole family including pets all year round.
