Welcome to our charming River House. Nestled along the Perho river, this idyllic retreat offers a perfect escape for both work trips and family getaways. The house features four cozy bedrooms, a newly renovated bathroom with indoor sauna, a wood burning fireplace, an updated kitchen and beautiful views of the river. A highlight of the property is our new riverside sauna. It offers an authentic Finnish sauna experience where you can unwind while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. What sets this property apart is its tranquility, privacy, and close connection to nature. Whether you're looking to recharge, spend quality time with family, or enjoy the beauty of the Perho River, our River House provides a memorable stay in every season. In the summer, you can enjoy the river from the private beach, whether it's dining or relaxing on the spacious riverside patio, roasting sausages or marshmallows at the beach fire pit, swimming, fishing from the shore, playing in the sand, or unwinding in the riverside sauna before cooling off with a refreshing dip in the river. An aluminium boat and two kayaks are available to use to explore the river. The property is on a forested lot covered with Blueberry and Lingonberry bushes. You can pick as many as you can in the Autumn! Hiking opportunities are plentiful in the surrounding forests, a great activity during the Autumn and Spring! In Winter, when the ice is thick enough, you can walk or ski on the ice for endless kilometers! The riverside sauna can be enjoyed year-round, offering an authentic Finnish sauna experience in every season—from warm summer evenings by the water to cozy winter sauna sessions followed by a refreshing cool-down outdoors. The city of Kokkola is ready for you to explore after just a short 5km drive. The city gives all the conveniences and services that one could need, but the serenity of the River House always awaits you. The opportunities are endless!
