Tunturioravat cottages are in a quiet hamlet in the centre of Äkäslompolo. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the centre of the village and close to the ski trails.
Äkäslompolo is a traditional Lappish village and has several safari companies that make it very easy to have winter fun and adventures, with activities like snowmobiling, husky sledding and Northern Lights safaris. The Ylläs area has an extensive network of ski trails, running for almost 350km. There are also prepared routes for snowmobilies and for snow showing.
