Spacious, modern cabin on a peaceful, forested lakeshore near Pello, in Lapland — built for the arctic winter. Bright, cosy interiors with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sleeps 7 in two bedrooms plus sofa beds, ideal for families and groups. Indoors: Living area: Open-plan living room and a large dining area — the perfect place to gather by the fireplace after a day in the snow. Kitchen: Fully equipped with the cookware, dishes and appliances you need to prepare meals. Please note groceries are not provided, so we recommend stocking up on the way (see distances below). Bedrooms: Two peaceful bedrooms, plus sofa beds — 7 sleeping places in total. Bathroom: The cabin has its own modern toilet and shower. Entertainment & work: Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with streaming services. Lakeside sauna building (shared only with the two neighbouring cabins on this small, family-run property): Authentic Finnish sauna with a terrace for cooling off, plus a washroom and a separate WC. Built-in sound system in the sauna and hot tub area — enjoy your own music while you relax. Shared hot tub by the lake, included and available on request — filled and heated in advance by arrangement, so you can soak under the starry sky. Lean-to shelter (laavu) beside the sauna with a campfire spot for grilling sausages over an open fire. Dock on the lakeshore. On clear nights, away from city lights, you may see the northern lights right from the property. Sleds, snowshoes and a kick-sled are available for guests.

The cabin sits in a quiet, forested setting by a lake near Pello. Away from city lights, the sky is dark and clear — on cloudless nights you may see the northern lights right from the property, and there is also possibility for guided aurora tours near from the accommodation. A car is essential for reaching services and getting around. Services & distances: Groceries: Nearest shop 8 km; a larger supermarket with a wider selection about 30 km — we recommend stocking up, as the cabin doesn't provide groceries. Reindeer & ice activities (15 km): Reindeer sleigh rides, reindeer feeding, ice fishing and even ice swimming, just a 15-minute drive away. Husky safaris (25 km): Popular husky tours about 25 km from the cabin. Rovaniemi: City centre and airport about 80 km; Santa Claus Village a little further (~87 km) — a great day trip. Ylläs ski resort: About 133 km for downhill skiing.
